Weight Management

Every program starts with a full metabolic blood panel, looking at insulin resistance, thyroid, and cortisol,
then builds a clinical plan around what your results show. Your clinician leads every decision.

Weight is rarely straightforward.

For many Australians, persistent weight concerns are not about willpower or effort. They are about metabolic function, hormonal balance, and insulin sensitivity. Factors that don’t show up in a generic program.
Baseline+ starts with understanding your individual picture. Your practitioner reviews your pathology and builds a clinical plan around what your results actually show.

Why weight loss needs a clinical lens.

Metabolic rate varies between individuals and is influenced by hormones, age, and body composition. Pathology can identify where variations exist.
Thyroid function, insulin sensitivity, and cortisol patterns all play a role in how the body stores and mobilises energy.
Chronic low-level inflammation can affect metabolic efficiency and is measurable through pathology.
Generic programs don’t account for individual pathology. Baseline+ starts with your results, not a one-size plan.

How we assess your metabolic and weight health

Blood Sugar Regulation

Fasting glucose, fasting insulin, and HOMA-IR assessed to evaluate insulin sensitivity and identify relevant metabolic markers.

Hormonal Metabolism

Thyroid function and cortisol evaluated to understand metabolic rate, stress response, and potential hormone-related factors.

Fat Storage Signals

Insulin and cortisol patterns assessed to understand how the body is managing energy storage and mobilisation.

Cardiometabolic Risk

Lipid studies including HDL assessed as part of a comprehensive metabolic health picture.

What your program looks like

Assessment & Baseline

Complete your intake, have your pathology coordinated by your practitioner, and attend your telehealth consultation of up to 45 minutes. Your clinical plan is built around what your results actually show.

Ongoing Clinical Support

Where medication or additional support is part of your clinical plan, your practitioner provides ongoing guidance. Dietitian and psychologist add-ons available where appropriate.

Review and Adjustment

Your clinical plan is reviewed as your health picture evolves. Follow-up consultations allow your practitioner to adjust recommendations based on your results.
